Moroccan chandeliers, Moroccan decorations, Moroccan inspired spaces, Moroccan lanterns, Moroccan mint tea glasses, Moroccan perfume bottles, visit Morocco
I have never been to Morocco, but I am dying to go. I cannot get over the beautiful accents that embellish their houses. Regardless of where I may live, I will always look for some Moroccan inspired items for my own home. I love mosaic tables for both inside and outside decor. They make for great side and accent tables as well. I would use some Moroccan tiles as back-splash in the kitchen or even as a framed artwork on the wall. The lanterns and chandeliers are divine, I don’t even have to mention it, while the mint tea glasses, silver (or brass) tea pot and serving trays are stunning pieces to entertain in or for simple decor purpose.
I am not big on their furniture (not too mention the prices are quite steep), however the poufs and pillows can be seen as extra color elements even in the most modern designs. There are multiple online stores and some NYC stores that you can visit. Imports from Marrakesh inside the Chelsea Market and Sheherazade in the Lower East Side are perfect. I only visited the latter and I almost didn’t want to leave; it was a marvelous oasis.
I cannot wait to have some of these items in my own space!
